Building on the success of the Clays brand, the new Birmingham location is a vibrant continuation of its legacy. In collaboration with KAI Interiors, this latest venue introduces a fresh and dynamic take on the immersive gameplay first established at the Moorgate site.

With our unique insight into the goals and brand identity of Clays, KAI Interiors was once again selected to collaborate on their third site in Birmingham. This would be the launch of a new game concept, The ARCADE.
A more playful space which allows for free flow within the game play area that evolves into a dance floor in the later hours. Alongside the new Arcade we focused heavily on the food and beverage space allowing more dining room for guests. A key focus was crafting an inclusive and engaging experience, one that not only enhances user enjoyment but also drives commercial success.
Our Solution
With a deep understanding of our client’s vision, we recognised that gameplay is at the heart of the Clays experience. This insight sparked the creation of ‘Clays Arcade’, a fresh and dynamic way to play that’s designed to be fun, accessible, and engaging for a broader audience.
Embracing the challenges of working within a historic building, we turned architectural quirks into creative opportunities, leveraging the existing layout to craft multi-level zones, all with distinct functions, to further contribute to the immersive experience.
We also elevated the space by introducing bespoke elements like custom mezzanine flooring, featuring rich dark tones and marbled green accent which strikes the perfect balance between playfulness and a premium finish.
