The client wanted to celebrate the apartment’s industrial character. Exposed brickwork, steel features, and concrete ceilings without it feeling cold or unfinished. The brief required clever spatial planning, thoughtful lighting, and bespoke design details to soften the architecture while preserving its edge. Integrating personality through materials and colour was also key, ensuring the space reflected the client’s lifestyle and aesthetic.
Our Solution
Layered materials and finishes celebrate the building’s raw structure while introducing warmth and comfort. Warm copper lighting, rich timber details, and patterned tiles create depth and visual interest.
Bespoke joinery provides ample storage and displays a collection of books and artwork, while soft furnishings, natural fabrics, and deep wall tones add texture and cosiness. Together, these elements balance the industrial framework with a relaxed, lived-in atmosphere, resulting in a home that feels effortlessly urban yet inviting.
